Mumara Campaigns
Let’s start with the latest one the Mumara Campaigns. We got a good amount of support queries and live chat sessions asking about the difference between MumaraClassic and Mumara Campaigns. Since both essentially deal with Email Marketing and Automation, people sometimes don’t actually delve into the feature details and end up in confusion.
Well, both actually are entirely separate applications, and other than the difference among the features, each one of the both follows a pricing model different than the other.
MumaraClassic is the self-hosted application discussed later in this article, while Mumara Campaigns is a SaaS app. Mumara Campaigns automatically deploys on a cloud instance upon purchase; you can however select hardware resources according to your sending requirements. Currently, Mumara Campaigns doesn’t offer a self-hosted version.
It was after the success of MumaraClassic, initially known as Mumara that team Mumara started working on a new version that not only covers more functionality but also includes suggestions that clients have posted over the period of time.
The very outcome of this is Mumara Campaigns. It went through a complete architectural redo, features were enhanced to a significant level, and the processes were made more initiative. This application of Mumara is available as Mumara Campaigns on our website.
MumaraClassic
People that know Mumara from the beginning days also know that Mumara initially started a self-hosted email marketing application. Being the only application we had at that time, we used to simply call it Mumara.
But this isn’t the case anymore. When Mumara expanded from one application to a complete store for web apps for multi-channel marketing, different applications are given unique names to help clients easily identify the required one. The initial version of Mumara is now known as MumaraClassic on our website.
